M.I.A.

So basically I've been missing from YouTube since the end of May. Let me just recap over what has been going on in my life...
On June 1st my boyfriend and I had to move out of our apartment in Berkeley (I wasn't going to ever say what city I lived in but with all the Cal stuff you've seen in my videos, I'm sure everyone knows). We are living with his parents for summer and are looking for a new apartment for next year. Anyways, since we were back in our hometown I was finally back to working 5 days a week again. But as of Tuesday June 29th I am no longer working for Trader Joe's (which I am actually glad to say). That ended my 2 year, 7 month relationship with the company. I am now looking for another job, preferrably somewhere that I can wear heels and work with clothes or makeup. Yeah, that would be nice :)
So tomorrow is Kevin and my one year anniversary. Well technically it's today because it's after midnight but yeah, you get it. July 4. We have no idea what we're doing to celebrate. His gift to me was a 1 karat diamond bracelet which I absolutely love and it's beautiful. I think it's considered a tennis bracelet but I'm not sure because it isn't the style of a classic tennis bracelet. It looks like each section is made up of little hearts. But I love it and haven't taken it off.
Ever since I can remember all I've wanted is a puppy. For the past few years I've loved Yorkies and Pomeranians. After looking at hundreds of pictures of each dog and researching and stuff I decided about 7 months ago that I wanted a Pomeranian and wouldn't stop til I got one. Well over the last month or so I've been looking at local puppy ads and calling and emailing people like crazy. I finally found a man in my area that had a litter of Pomeranians. My boyfriend and I went to look at them a few weeks ago and I found a few that I loved but the man was asking more than we could afford. But this weekend he lowered the price of the girl that I love to $375 so today I went and put a $100 deposit on her to assure that she's mine. We found a pet friendly apartment (that I'm also in love with) and so in a few weeks when we move back we will pay the $275 and bring her home with us. This is her:

She is absolutely beautiful. She's a little bit bigger than the rest of the puppies but she is so calm and she loves to cuddle and I just can't wait to bring her home.

Anyways I will be back to making videos soon enough and I really miss it. But being at the boyfriends parents house, I don't have a place to film and it's just too hard. But I promise I'll be back soon and I'll be sure to post pictures of the apartment and the puppy when we get them! Miss you all!

What A Day...

So I'm having kind of a ridiculous day today. I came down to where my parents live to babysit the kids that I've been watching since I was in 7th grade. I am now almost a Sophomore in college... you do the math :)
Anyways, it's about an hour drive and I got stuck behind some jackass pulling a trailor in the fast lane going roughly 60 mph. Since there was heavy traffic, getting over and passing this asshat wasn't really an option, and I got stuck behind him for a good 10 miles. After this guy finally got a clue and moved over a lane I was feeling better. Then I got a text from my mom telling me that her and my dad had taken my bed out of my old room and that they are, for sure, turning it into their home office. This in turn led me to call my boyfriend and cry for 10 minutes then proceed to cry the rest of the way to my parents house. I finally got here, gave my mom her mothers day present, and cried some more. After I pulled myself together we decided to go get a frappacino (or however you spell it) cuz it's hot. When we were pulling out of the driveway, my mom went to close the automatic garage door, which then proceeded to hit a chair. Instead of stopping and rolling back up like it's supposed to, it tried to keep going, which resulted in a sound like an explosion, a broken garage door, and glass all over the garage and driveway. After we cleaned that up we finally got our coffee. When we got home I took a second look at my moms present I got her and realized that ELF sent me the wrong makeup kit. I looked online and couldn't even find the kit that they sent me on there. Great... So I sent them a stern, but nice, email asking them to please send me the correct kit. THEN I decided I was going to try to register online for college summer classes. It told me I still had a hold on my account even though I already paid it. Once I got that cleared it still wouldn't let me register because it told me I have to reapply to the college since I skipped Spring 2010 semester. FML. After forgetting my login info and sitting on hold for 20 minutes, I finally got everything figured out. Now my happy ass is reapplying for a college that I don't even want to go to.

FML.

Swatches From My Huge Collective Haul Video

These first swatches are going to be from my purchase from HauteLook.com. These Urban Decay loose pigments were only $5 each!!! What a steal :)
So starting left to right we have...
- Rockstar
- Shattered
- Smog
- Shag

And here are the beautiful swatches!
Left to right: Rockstar, Shattered, Smog, Shag

The next swatches are going to be from six different L'Oreal H.I.P. duos. Starting in the top left corner, the colors are:
- Flashy
- Sculpted
- Showy
- Brazen
- Charming
- Perky

This first photo is of the colors (left to right) Brazen, Flashy, and Perky.

This next photo is of the colors (left to right) Charming, Showy, and Sculpted.

All of these pictures were taken in natural sunlight and all of the colors are so pretty. I'm kind of bummed because in the H.I.P. duo "Flashy" the white color isn't very pigmented at all and that was pretty disappointing. I was really looking forward for that to be a nice highlight color. Oh well, you can't always win! Either way I found some great deals :)

So I finally broke down today and decided to create a blog. I decided it would be pretty practical so that I could post swatches, information, and other pictures for my subscribers to see. I also will probably be putting up random posts here and there of my rambles. I hope you all enjoy and don't forget to click the little follow button!!!
